She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Neikirk and Lela Neikirk (McConnell); her husband Frederick Bowers; and her sisters, Doris Hoerig, Laura Powell and Sandra Bowerman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tracy Hoover, Terry Butler (Wayne) of Republic, Claudia Hoover of Tiffin, Donna Adams (Gilbert) of Tiffin and Lela Schreiner (James Scott Barger) of Fostoria; her stepchildren, Jeff Bowers (Gail) of Tiffin, Craig Bowers (Michelle) of Colorado Springs, CO, Steve Bowers of Fayetteville, NC and Traci Kinsey (Steve) of Colorado Springs, CO; and her sister Ruth Ann Carnahan of Tiffin. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren.
