He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Gardner and Louise Gardner; and his grandson Benjamin Cunningham. He is survived by: his siblings, Richard Gardner (Debra) of Columbus, Janet Gardner of Toledo and Julie Boner of Tiffin; his wife Sandra Lynne Gardner (Cooper); his children, Michelle Kaye (Todd Papes) of Cincinnati, Patricia Malone (Chris) of Tiffin, David Gardner (Annette) of Tiffin and Seth Gardner of Sarasota, Florida; his grandchildren, Zechariah Cunningham (Melissa), Chelsey Bunting, Logan Gardner, Alyssa Gardner and Claire Gardner; and his great grandchildren, Ellyse Cunningham, Madison Cunningham and Everleigh Halcomb.
