He is survived by: his parents, Susan K. Distel (Boyer) and Michael P. Distel; his sister Lee DuMond of Pickerington; his nephews, Zane and Noah (Caitlyn); his niece Kallan; and his uncle Dave Boyer (Susan Hemminger) of Tiffin.
