She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Hoover and Nona Hoover (Kuhn); her husband Larry R. Phelps; her siblings, Dennis, David Hoover, Alice Dougherty, Nancy Weininger and Susan Hoover; and her brother-in-law Charles Dougherty.
She is survived by: her son Jeffrey Hoover (Mara) of Granville; her grandson Jace Hoover of Granville; her brothers, Wayne Wax (Sara) of Tiffin, Stephen Hoover (Kayleen) of Tiffin and Eugene Hoover of Ligonier, Indiana; her siblings-in-law, Charles W. Weininger of Tiffin and Randa Hoover of Milford, Indiana; and her aunt Marilyn Anderson of Tiffin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
