She was predeceased by: her father Woodrow; her husband Carl Edward "Ed" Cahill; and her stepfather Joseph Bua. She is survived by: her children, Carl Anthony Cahill (Elizabeth) of Concord, NC, Stephanie Kelso (Mark) of Charlotte, NC and Denise Rentz (Daniel) of Clinton, NC. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
