He was predeceased by: his parents, Lambert H. Gassner, Sr. and Ida Gassner, Sr. (Pearson); and his wife Regina M. Werling. He is survived by: his children, Timothy J. Gassner (Annette) of Tiffin, John J. Gassner of Columbus, Christine M. Gassner of Portage, MI, Annette M. Wendland (Harry) of Byron Center, MI, Diana A. Hrib (John) of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, David A. Gassner (Lydia) of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, Kimberly Wilkinson (Doug) of Lancaster, OH and Kathleen M. Dungan (Kerry) of Upper Arlington; his grandchildren, Nicholas Gassner, Jacklyn Krabach, Aaron Gassner, Briana Wendland, Eric Wendland, Elizabeth Gassner, George Gassner, Hope Gassner, Leanna Hrib, Marissa Wilkinson, James Wilkinson, Audrey Dungan and Claire Dungan; and his siblings, Neil Gassner of Tiffin, Janene Giles (Chuck) of Tiffin and Ruth Buchman (Gerald) of Tiffin. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
