He was predeceased by: his parents, George Corthell and Orpha Corthell (Haines); his wife Dorothy L. Rider; his son Richard Corthell; and his siblings, Robert, Gilbert, Paul, John, Don, Catherine Brooks, Janette Holmer and Helen Cole.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen Corthell (Kathy) of Tiffin and Jane Supance (Jim) of Tiffin; his daughter-in-law Margaret Corthell of Greenwood, IN; his grandchildren, Michelle Billerman (Jason), Marcia Kleinhenz (Matt), Alicia Darr (Jesse), Kimere Corthell, Daniel Corthell (Heather), Nathan Corthell (Chiara) and Katie Corthell; and his great grandchildren, Lucas, Logan, Eden, Corinne, Jackson, Lane, Sawyer, Magnolia and Sophia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Northwestern Ohio Christian Youth Camp, formerly Camp Pittenger, 2905 Starr Ave., Oregon, OH 43616.
