She was predeceased by: her parents, Lowell Welborn and Martha Welborn (Mathias); her husband Robert Gruss (Bob); her siblings, Carl, Robert Welborn and Thelma Eddington; her daughter-in-law Samantha Gruss; and her stepgrandson Bryan Nickelson.
She is survived by: her children, Gary O. Gruss, Scott A. Gruss and Jill S. Gruss of Tiffin; her grandchildren, Sarah Ruth (Corey) of Chicago, Kathryn Nagel (Joshua) of Attica, Erin Henschke (John) of Tiffin, Brian Gruss (Olivia) of Tiffin, Kayce Clouse of Tiffin, William Clouse of Tiffin and Justin Gruss of Tiffin; her great grandchild Jameson Ruth; her grandchildren, Bennett, Blake, Hadley Nagel, Emersyn, Gannon, Warner Henschke and Weston Gruss; and her sister Barbara Hohman (Dwain) of Ottawa. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
