She was predeceased by: her parents, George Whitmer and Dorothy Whitmer (Graham); and her brothers, Darrell Whitmer and Lonny Whitmer. She is survived by: her husband John L. Wellman of Tiffin; her children, Debra Swain (Keith) of Jackson, Ohio and John P. Wellman (Tammy) of Fremont; her siblings, Audrey Callahan (Frank), Charlotte Scott (Jeff) and Garry Whitmer (Melissa); her grandchildren, Danielle Meyer Foecking (Ted) of Seven Hills, Olen Queen of Mason, WV, Brandon Queen of New London, Nicholas Wellman of Tiffin and Chelsea Wellman of Portland, Oregon; her brothers, Robert and John L. Wellman, II of Fremont; and her pet Selma. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Christian Church (2016 S County Rd 19, Tiffin, OH 44883). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Autumnwood Care Center-Memory Care, Heartland Hospice, Right to Life or to First Christian Church.
