He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Sr. Perna and Vita Perna (Fortunato); his wife Carolyn (Hart); his children-in-law, Becky Perna and David Stahl; his sisters, Carmie Fabrizio and Connie Corrado; his brothers-in-law, Robert "Bo" Reid, Tom Corrado, Fred Fabrizio and Fred Hodges; his nephews, Adam Perna and Terry Hunter; and his great-nephew Nick Hunter.

He is survived by: his children, Stephen Perna and Sandri Stahl of Tiffin; his grandchildren, Sara Griffin, Anthony Stahl and Brooke Perna (Riley Perna); his great grandchildren, Elizabeth Taylor, Christopher Taylor, Levi Baker and Owen Baker; and his siblings, John Perna (Josephine) of Tiffin, Frank Perna (Malinda) of Tiffin, Leonard Jr. Perna (Paula) of Tiffin, Michael Perna (Shirley) of Cadillac, MI, Mary Reid of Tiffin, Lucy Wade (Barry) of Tiffin, Jeannie Adelsperger (Larry) of Tiffin, Margie Hodges of Tiffin, Dolores Herbert (Michael) of Tiffin and Nattie Kistler of Georgetown, OH..

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Carmie Fabrizio Scholarship Fund or to St. Mary's Catholic Church.
