He was predeceased by: his brother Charles Buchanan; and his grandfather Archie Smith. He is survived by: his parents, Joseph Buchanan Sr. of Bellevue and Tina M. Handshoe (Smith) of Tiffin; his fiancée Meagan Wonderly of Tiffin; his children, Layla, Camilla and Ryker Glen Buchanan; his stepchildren, Braxton and Serenity Swartz; his brothers, Acesa Garrard of Bellevue, Dillon Buchanan of Bellevue and Colton Buchanan of Bellevue; his stepparents, David Handshoe of Tiffin and Christine Buchanan of Bellevue; and his grandmother Arlene Smith of Tiffin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
