He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry B. and Mary L. Anway (Rickenbaugh); his former wife Sandra Jane (Anderson); his wife Marge (Alpay); and his sister Harriet Kessler.
He is survived by: his sons, Stephen Anway (Dianne) of Huron and Thomas Anway (Amy) of Tiffin; his stepchildren, Suzan McCrystal (John) of Columbus, Sera Leonessa (Fabio) of Maryland, Coral Nelson (Bob) of Columbus and Deniz Alpay of Virginia; his grandchildren, Morgan Anway (Rachel), Vincent Anway (Sara), Logan, Collin Anway, Justine Frankart, Shelbi Jump (Connor), Kylee Palm (Brayden), Kaitlyn Ledwedge, Lauren McCrystal (Sam Papadakis), Connor McCrystal, Chloe, Lilly, Max Nelson, Isabella, Daniela Roccasecca and Austin Goyburu; his great grandchildren, Kaia Anway, Avery, Garett Frankart and Harper Jump; and his sister Kathryn Berlekamp of Tiffin.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home (3085 OH-19, Bloomville, OH 44818). A masonic service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at the Farewell Retreat Cemetery.
