She was predeceased by: her parents, Arno R. Hesse and Louise E. Hesse (Derflinger); her sister Doris Young; her brother-in-law Mike Young; and her close friend Verne Harding.

She is survived by: her husband Robert L. Bauders; her nephews, Michael Young of Republic, Thomas Young of Lucasville and Steven Young (Cathy) of Grand Rapids, MI; her great-niece Rebekah Young; and her great-nephew Sean Young.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled Veteran's National Foundation, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Humane Society of Seneca County, The Heart Association or to a charity of the donor's choice.

“We are all so sorry to hear of Joan’s passing. Joan was a special part of our family for almost 30 years. She and my Dad (Verne Harding who passed away August of 2020) shared many years and good times together. They especially loved to garage sale and had their table’s together for the Tiffin Flea Market. One of their other loves was dancing and they were so good together. They always checked in with each other twice a day when they weren’t together. Keep on dancing Dad and Joan ❤️”
