He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon R. Wheatley and Lillian Wheatley (Strausbaugh); his son Michael Wheatley; his son-in-law James Coffman; and his siblings, Carl Wheatley and Thelma Dotson.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Wheatley (Houk) of Tiffin; his daughter Carol L. Coffman of Tiffin; and his brother Richard Wheatley of Fresno, CA. He is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
