He was predeceased by: his parents, John Long and Ethel Long (Ritter); and his wife Phyllis May Fields. He is survived by: his children, William "Jake" Long (Cherie) of Fostoria, Nancy Carnicom (Rick) of Fremont, Sharon Melon (Roger) of Tiffin and Brenda Marks of Fostoria. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
