James Russell Kimmel Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Russell Kimmel of Tiffin, Ohio, born in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, who passed away on December 9, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne A. Kimmel and Dorothy R. Kimmel (Hutchinson); and his sister Margy Wenner. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Kimmel of Tiffin; his children, James "Rick" Kimmel of Ameilia, Michael Kimmel (Cherie) of North Baltimore, Louise Sommer (Mark) of Shelby and Virginia Cochie (Steven) of Tiffin; his siblings, Donald Kimmel (Clarice) of Florida, Gene Kimmel (Barbara) of Findlay and Della Lenhart; and his grandchildren, Amanda Birenbaum (Rick), Chris Cochie (Missy), Sandra McCoy (Steven), Matthew Sommer, Marina Crouse (Danny) and Jordan Kimmel. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
