She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene J. Marentette and Helen Mae Marentette (Lamb); and her husband Herbert H. Mitson Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Bryan Mitson (Alicia) of Southfield, MI and Karen Swope (John) of Tiffin; her grandchildren, Aaron Swope (Janis) of North Royalton, Amy Nava-Swope (Erick) of White Lake, MI, Jamison Swope (Elaine) of Hinckley, OH, Ashley Mitson of Bellingham, WA and Jason Mitson of Land O'Lakes, FL; and her brothers, Robert Marentette of Nashville, TN and Richard Marentette of Washington, MI.. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cleveland Metro Parks or to Ohio Living Hospice.
