He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Wurm and Marcella Wurm (Buchman); his daughter Janet Ann Wurm; and his brothers, Ronald Wurm and Marvin Wurm.

He is survived by: his wife Leila (Brickner); his children, Tony Wurm (Janette) of Attica, Jim Wurm (Linda) of Republic, Don Wurm (Lisa Rombach) of Tiffin, David Wurm (Dee) of Charlestown, IN, Dale Wurm of Lima and Diane Wise (Glen) of Attica; his grandchildren, Derek Wurm (Nicole), Jarrod Wurm, Blake Wurm, Lauren Wurm, Dalton Wise, Alexis Wise and Haylee Wurm; his great grandchildren, Caden and Spencer Wurm; and his siblings, Harold Wurm (Rose) of Willard and Barbara Vogel of Republic.
