She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Sr. Hassmann and Margaret Hassmann (Goettel); and her son Trent Ward. She is survived by: her husband Wayne "Zeke" Ward; her daughters, Traci LaMendola (Jared) of Glenville, PA and Tricia Baldosser (Daryl Jr.) of Beavercreek; her grandchildren, Avery and Emme Baldosser; and her siblings, Karl Hassmann Jr. of Mansfield and Anni Greenfelder of Lexington.
