He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Rhoad and Bernice Rhoad (Breigel); his wife Betty (Montz); and his brothers, Ellis "Gaylord", Edward, Richard and Kenneth Rhoad.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Rhoad (Cheryl) of Pandora and Alison Holly (Michael) of Holland; and his brother Lyle Rhoad (Phyllis) of Norwalk. He is also survived by three grandchildren, … seven great-grandchildren.
