He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Tiell and Adeline Tiell (Rogier); his wife Christel W. Neuhoff; and his siblings, Ernest J. Tiell, Agnes C. Ward and Oleta Mae Reinhart.
He is survived by: his daughters, Maria A. Amadeo of Tiffin, Susi L. Bain (Larry Sharp) of Tiffin and Joan C. Saleh of Columbus; his sister Mary Frisch of Tiffin; his grandchildren, Angela Miller (Craig), Dominick Amadeo (Alex), Richard Bain and Daniel Bain; and his great grandchildren, Francesca Miller, Mackenzie Amadeo, Luke Miller, Jazmyn Bain and Anthony Amadeo.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross, Ecumencial Sharing Kitchen at St. Paul's or to a local Veteran's Group.
