He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Poignon and Ann Poignon (Burgholtzer); and his son Daniel Poignon. He is survived by: his former wife Elizabeth J. "Betty" Seifert; his wife Elizabeth Poignon of Tiffin; his children, Steve Poignon (Kara) of Loveland, Diane Reser (Kevin) of Tiffin and Deb Glatfelter (Kevin); his brothers, Paul Poignon (Janet) of Walbridge, Jim Poignon of Tiffin and Joe Poignon of Tiffin; his grandchildren, Geoffrey Reser, Amy Hunter (Richie), Stephanie Miner (Matt), Michael Poignon, Zachary Poignon, Danielle Poignon (Brandon Worley) and Mandy Baldwin (Noah); and his great grandchildren, Jason, Haddie, Laney, Nellie, Lilyann, Alayna, Mason and Jared.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a charity of the donor's choice.
