He was predeceased by: his father George Ringle; his wife Agnes Ringle (Rewoldt); and his half-sisters, Jane Kidder and Marilyn Troup. He is survived by: his sister Anne Bilger of Bellevue; his half-brother John DeBarbrie of Tiffin; and his nieces and nephews, Janelle Veard of Lorain, Ellen Mast of Powell, Jeff Hohman of Tiffin and Joe Hohman (Steve Ruhl) of Troy.

Memorial contributions may be made to the United Veterans Council.
