He was predeceased by: his parents, Edsel "Bud" Laney and Sandra Laney (Loy); and his grandparents, Edsel Laney, Betty Gillfillan, L. Jerry and Virginia Loy.
He is survived by: his wife Wendy Laney (Warren); his children, Christopher and Kate; his siblings, Nichole Ramirez (Bob) of Louisville, KY, Sara Sexton (Jeremy) of Ft Wayne, IN, Lindsay Laney (Troy Saum) of Forest, OH and Dustin Laney (Alexa) of Fostoria; and his siblings-in-law, David Warren (Lisa) of Ft Myers, FL, Kathie Bridges (Carl) of Riverview, FL and Tawney Martinez (Anthony) of Poland, OH. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to St. Mary Catholic Church or St. Joseph Catholic Church.
