He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvatore SanGregory and Dominica SanGregory (Famulare); his wife Antoinette "Toni" Pepe; and his brother-in-law Jim Borer. He is survived by: his children, Sal SanGregory (Tammi) of Perrysburg, Michael SanGregory (Jenny) of Tiffin, Theresa Distel, Jr. (Dean) of Tiffin and Annette Baker (Jim) of Tiffin; his siblings, John SanGregory (Marge) of Bellevue, Tony SanGregory (Jackie) of Tiffin, Christina SanGregory of Tiffin and Lucy Borer of Tiffin; and his grandchildren, Salina Wright (Thomas), Josh Distel (Kristin), Nickalas SanGregory (Tiffany), Jason Distel, Michelle Risner (Steve), Jenelle Miller, Jonathan Distel (April), Dylan SanGregory, Sidney Dutro (Zach) and Hailey Baker. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
