She was predeceased by: her father Lewis; and her husband Ralph E. Tompkins. She is survived by: her children, Donna Loescher (Art) of Buckeye, AZ, Ralph Edwain "Ed" Tompkins (Carol) of Chandler, AZ, Linda Kuenzli (Tim) of Pickerington, Shirley Tompkins of Buckley, WA, Patricia Mortensen (Jeff) of Reynoldsburg, Jim Tompkins-MacLaine of San Diego, CA and Carolyn Tompkins of Tiffin. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
