With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eugene Kauffman of Tiffin, Ohio, born in Alvada, Ohio, who passed away on December 23, 2020 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eugene Kauffman to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kauffman and Lucy Kauffman (Fraley); his wife Phyllis A. Ranker; his siblings, Carl, Paul, Joe, Don, Infant, Francis, Rosemary Clouse, Esther Kauffman, Ruth Durdel, Rita Hoover, Helen Topel and Clara Kramer; his son-in-law Greg Gernert; and his granddaughter Denise Kauffman.

He is survived by: his children, Steve Kauffman (Trudy) of Tiffin, Rick Kauffman (Patty) of Tiffin, Sharon Faris (Tom) of Tiffin, Sue Kauffman of Tiffin and Sandy Gernert of Bloomville; and his sister Mary Stover of Tiffin. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and three great, great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Allen Eiry Senior Center, Calvert Catholic Schools or to Stein Hospice.
