Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Eileen Bowser of Tiffin, Ohio, who passed away at the age of 100, on August 19, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony H. Martin and Mary B. Martin (Hoepf); her husband James T. Bowser; and her sister Rosemary Budzis. She is survived by: her children, Thomas A. Bowser of Pearland, Texas and Celeste M. Schultz of Bradner; and her siblings, Charles R. Martin of Norwalk, Louis Martin of Dayton and Martina Boe of Texas. She is also survived by four grandchildren; three great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or to St. Mary Catholic Church.

“I lived with her in Kiwanis Manor. I don't smile much. One day we were waiting for the elevator and she said to me: "Hi there Mr. Sunshine". It cracked me up and I told her it would be my new nickname. My friends even made me a T-shirt with Mr. Sunshine on it. When my Daughter came to see me, we both went to see Eileen. We talked about the new nickname that she gave me. She told me and my Daughter that she always knew that I have a heart. It was the best compliment I ever got.”
