He was predeceased by: his father Nelson Mathias; his wife Kisha Carver; and his stepfather John Metzger. He is survived by: his mother Nancie J. Metzger (Haugh) of Carey; his children, Brant Mathias of Upper Sandusky and Kailey Mathias of Tiffin; his siblings, Andrew Mathias of Bucyrus, Corey Mathias (Gracie) of Texas, Greg Mathias (Crystal) of Bloomville and Rene Meyer (Robert) of Fostoria; his grandson Dominik Mathias; his stepmother Beverly Mathias of Warsaw, IN; and his pets, Frankie and Hemi. He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews and three great nieces and nephews.
