We bid farewell to Deacon John Francis Walter of Tiffin, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 19, 2025 at the age of 79. Deacon John Francis touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Walter and Joan Walter (Kuhn); his son James Todd Walter; and his granddaughter Maria Christina Alvarado. He is survived by: his children, John F. Walter (Andrea) of Tiffin, Jeanine Alvarado (David) of Tiffin, Jennifer Carson (Christopher) of Westerville and Janel Pardi (John) of Manchester, Connecticut; his siblings, Tom Walter (Pat) of Tiffin, Gerald Walter of Tiffin, Margaret Lynch (Joseph) of Tiffin and Susan Caudill (Donald) of Bascom; and his siblings-in-law, Joseph Smith (Diane) of Tiffin, Janice Smith of Fostoria and Mary Smith of Tiffin. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calendar All Saints Parish (41 N Perry St, New Riegel, OH 44853). A burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM.
