He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. "Bob" Recker and Betty L. Recker (Lammers); his son Matthew Recker; his siblings, Gregory P. Recker and Barbara Lynn Recker; and his brother-in-law Dean Crow.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Recker of Tiffin; his son Jerald "Jerry" Recker of Tiffin; and his siblings, Roy Recker (Kim) of New Riegel, Rick Recker (Amy) of New Riegel, Ken Recker (Shelly) of Port Clinton, Elaine Perry (Tom) of Tiffin, Carol Crow of Chambersburg, PA, Teresa Lonsway (Brad) of Marblehead and Mary Jo Welter (Bob) of McCutchenville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
