He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl N. and Laura Overmier, Sr. (Burns); his wife Jill R. Hughes; his daughter Melody Overmier; and his siblings, Daniel L. Overmier, Oliver A. "Butch" Overmier and Patricia Ann Atha.

He is survived by: his daughters, Sunrae Milgrim (Curtis) of Plymouth and Carleen Gammon (Todd) of New Riegel; his sister Laura Jean Wilson of Bloomville; and his grandsons, Nick Milgrim (Allie) and Nate Milgrim.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
