She was predeceased by: her parents, Hassle Short and Margaret Short (Mullins). She is survived by: her former husbands, Robert "Bob" Imel and Myron "Mike" Schiffer; her son Steven Imel of Tiffin; and her sister Linda Burlison of Spruce Pine.
