She was predeceased by: her father Grover Smith; her husband Fred D. Bowman Jr.; her siblings, Howard Smith, Art Smith, Gilbert Smith, Helena Hiser, Irene Loy and Martha Weber; and her niece Kristi Loy.
She is survived by: her children, Fred Bowman III (Janet) of Bowling Green, KY and Ann Reese (Kevin) of Lima; her grandchildren, Jason Reese (Sarah) of Waynesfield and Alyson Egbert (Brandon) of Findlay; her stepgrandson Adam Witt of Los Angeles, CA; her great grandchildren, Hollyn Reese and Heidi Reese; and her sisters-in-law, Madelyn Smith of Tiffin and Jean Bowman of Bayvillage. She is also survived by 18 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tiffin First Christian Church Disciples of Christ or the Seneca County Genealogical Society Chapter of Ohio.
