He was predeceased by: his mother Megan Schultz (Somodi); his grandmother Ann Schultz; and his great-grandparents, John Smith and Edward Schultz (Mary). He is survived by: his father Austin Schultz (Megan) of Tiffin; his grandfathers, Allen Schultz (Diana) of Marblehead and Mark Somodi (Amy) of Tiffin; his great-grandparents, Rita Smith of Tiffin, Frank Somodi (Carol) of Norton, OH and Philip Roth (Nancy) of Gnadenhutten, OH.; and his aunts and uncles, Jay Schultz, Nicholas Somodi, Tracey O'Brien (James), Lauren Sims (William) and Kara Somodi.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church; the Worker Fund.
