She was predeceased by: her parents, Orman Thorpe and Nellie Thorpe (Fuqua); her husband James Weinert; and her brothers, Carl Thorpe (Wilma), Orman Thorpe, Jr. and Robert Deboe.
She is survived by: her daughter Caroline Phillips (Lucas); her granddaughters, Isabel and Morgan Phillips; and her sister-in-law Jane Thorpe. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
