He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Cochenour and Annabelle Cochenour. He is survived by: his wife Vickie Cochenour; his children, Mike (Amy Cochenour), Robin (Jim Schmelzer), Tonya (Charles Schneider), Brian (Annia Knight), Marilee (Gary Schmelzer Jr.), Trent (Nikki Cochenour) and Rebecca Cochenour (Kenny); his sister Marilee; his brother-in-law Richard Stretton; and his close friend Greg Williams. He is also survived by several aunts and uncles; 19 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
