He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Gilliland and Mary Ann Schwable Gilliland. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Herles Gilliland; his sons, Scott Gilliland (Deanna) of Thurman and Andy Gilliland (Kara) of Oak Hill; his siblings, Charlie Gilliland (Mary) of Waterford, MI, Karen Gilliland of Waverly and Ruth Kistler (Paul) of Camarillo, CA; and his grandchildren, Hunter, Isaac, Mitchell and Lyla.
