He was predeceased by: his father Howard K. Smith. He is survived by: his wife Hilde; his children, Gary Michael Smith (Tammy), Scott W. Smith and Angela M. Triona (Frank L.); and his brother Kenneth Smith. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
