She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Rees and Georgia Rees (Gansheimer); her spouse Garrel Spain, Sr.; her granddaughter Sabrina Spain; and her sisters, Anna Speakman, Linda Spain, Cora Speakman and Helen Simpson.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary Spain of Thornville and Donny Spain (Frances) of Marysville; her grandsons, DJ, James E., Jason E. and Christopher L. Spain; and her brother Clarence "Bud" Rees of Zanesfield. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; a great-great grandchild.
