He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean and Patrick Herbert; and his sister-in-law Dr. Patricia Gibbons. He is survived by: his wife Terri Jean Gibbons; his siblings, Lynne Swerbinsky (Mike) of Willowick, OH, Jeffrey Herbert (Debbie) of Mentor, OH, Patrick Herbert (Arlene) of Willoughby Hills, OH, Michael Herbert of Timberlake, OH and Teri Herbert (Rick Kuntz) of Ravenna, OH.; his sisters-in-law, Linda Valencic (Joe) and Mary Jane Robers (Frank); and his stepmother Margaret Herbert. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces/nephew, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Geauga County Dog Warden, 12513 Merritt Rd., Chardon, OH 44024.
