He is survived by: his son Jason Chapek of Solon; his grandsons, Charles, Collin and Carter Chapek of Solon; his siblings, Robert Chapek (Susan) of Thompson, Nancy Hawley of Thompson, Jill Chapek (Larry Morse) of Thompson and Chris Chapek (Melanie Sanders) of Geneva; his sister-in-law Sarah Chapek of Trumbull Twp; his mother-in-law Brenda Rife; his brother-in-law Mark Rife of Hambden; his nieces and nephews, Amanda Rife of Hambden, Emmy Chapek Beeson (Ryan) of Findlay, Tami Chapek of Columbus, Hillary Layman (Craig) of Thompson, Cameron Morse (Lindsey) of Montville and Todd Morse (Dani) of Knoxville, TN.; his great-nephews, Oliver and Case Layman of Thompson; and his friend Jamie Joseph of Solon, OH..
