He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Swiger and Mabel Swiger (Edgell); his brother Arthur; and his great grandchild Sammuel. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Kim Carroll, Fuzz (Kathy), Brian "Clyde" (Leslie) and Rebecca (Alex); his grandchildren, Larry, Tina, Krystal, Ken, Anthony and Andrew; and his sisters, Jan (John) and Diana (Jay). He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
