He was predeceased by: his parents, William Blaydes and Cloy Blaydes; his sisters, Shirley Blaydes and Shelva Haymaker; and his son-in-law Kevin Tanner.
He is survived by: his wife Sara; his daughters, Sherri Tanner and Carrie Garren (Kurt); and his grandchildren, Amanda (Joseph), Brittany (Massimo), Donovan (Alissa), Jamie (Joseph) and Cameron (Alexandra). He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
