She was predeceased by: her husband James Kozy; her parents, Stanley Lavaco and Bridget Lavaco; her children, Baby Boy Kozy and Carol Ann Kozy; and her great grandchild Evelyn Grace Kozy.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Kozy (Kim), Diane Mulhollen (David), Patricia Thomas (Doug) and Susan Kozy; her grandchildren, Stephen Kozy, Jimmy Kozy (Emily), Rebecca Sacramone (Chris), Emily Meiden (Joe), Lindsay Mulhollen-Hines (Brian), Mark Mulhollen (Alexis), Daniel Thomas (Rachel), Leanna Thomas (Elizabeth) and Andrew Thomas; and her great grandchildren, Zachary, Matthew Kozy, Hollis, Elliott, Alaina, James IV Kozy, Olivia, Gavin Sacramone, Andrew, Benjamin and Jonathan Mieden.
She made dozens of dresses, aprons, sweaters, afghans and knitted many baby caps to be donated to children's hospital wards.
