He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Mayfield and Grace Mayfield; his brother Richard Mayfield (Loretta); and his brother-in-law Charles Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Sheri Young (Mike), Stacy Ramp (Wes) and Robert "Shannon" Mayfield (Christine); his sister Jolynn Phillips; and his grandchildren, Melissa, Tori (Evan), Katelynn, Hope, Parker, Cara and Tommy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert's name can be made to Faithful Servants Care Center, 65 Community Rd. Tallmadge, OH 44278.
