He was predeceased by: his wife Eleanor; his parents, Salvatore Rich and Elena Rich (Cea); his siblings, Marguerite Catanese, Robert Rich and Ronald Rich; and his granddaughter Alexis.

He is survived by: his children, Loretta Heath (Don), Rebecca Scaglione (Joseph), Jeffrey Rich (Dawn), Gregory Rich (Robin), Pamela Skeriotis (Nick) and Rodney Rich (Stacey); his grandchildren, Anthony, Christine, Mitchell, Lea, Niko, Jordan, Breanna and Chelsea; and his great grandchildren, Gunnar, Owen and Hudson.
