She was predeceased by: her parents, John Penix and Goldie Penix; her husband Darold; her daughter Debbie; her granddaughter Sarah; and her sister Omega.

She is survived by: her children, Lela Marana (Ken), Keith Zickefoose (Sandy) and Gina Darmstadt (John); her grandchildren, Shawn Blackburn, Seth Marana, Ethan Marana, Kelly Zickefoose, Emily Zickefoose and Hannah Zickefoose; and her sisters, Gertrude Kimble (Phil), Jenny Spade, Gail Berkheimer, Sharon Harris (Dave) and Karen Hydeck (Joe). She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
