She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferne Ripley and Elton Ripley; her husband Philip Carlson; and her siblings, Gertrude, Genevieve, Marilyn, Richard, Wilbur and Robert Ripley.
She is survived by: her children, Rodney Carlson (Anna), George Carlson (Denise), Donald Carlson (Barbara) and Frances Taylor (Philip); her grandchildren, Steve, Ron (Bernadette), David (Sarah), Kristen (John), Danielle, Owen, Teddy, Alexis and Jacob; her great grandchildren, Ty, Ian, Jack, Landon, Harrison and Maggie; and her brothers, Lucius Ripley and Lowell Ripley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Marge's name to Kent City Schools.
