It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marguerite (Peggy) Mellinger of Tallmadge, Ohio, who passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Minier and Hattie Minier; and her siblings, Betty Minier and Clyde "Bud" Minier. She is survived by: her husband Jerry; her children, Tim Mellinger (Elaine), Joel Mellinger (Diane), Michael Mellinger (Denise) and Ann Matheny; and her brother Bill Minier.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Redmon Funeral Home (3633 Darrow Rd, Stow, OH 44224). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Standing Rock Cemetery (1361 N Mantua St, Kent, OH 44224).
